Finally there's a dry cleaners back in Accrington, and what a good, reliable and reasonably priced one it is. I needed a suit doing for an important meeting last week and happen to read in the Observer that Acorn had opened recently. I found the service exceptional, the woman behind the counter friendly and helpful and after I explained my situation she shifted things around to accommodate my needs. The suit came out brilliantly and the price was cheaper than I have been paying for the same service in Burnley or Great Harwood. Would strongly recommend to fellow Accringtonions

I took a christening gown here, made from antique lace, that was part of my grandmother's wedding dress. The gown was last worn 26years ago, as you can imagine it needed a good clean after sitting in a wardrobe for the last 26years. It was ready to collect within 4-5days. Price very reasonable £8. The gown looks stunning, I didn't realise how dirty it was.

Message Body:
I've just had my second suede coat cleaned by Acorns Accrington and had to pass on my thanks and admiration for the amazing job you have done. I like older 'vintage' clothes and my suede coats are original ones from the 1960's, a little delicate in places (lining especially) but much loved and frequently worn. I decided to splash out and have my Chestnut coat cleaned, not a cheap expense but Acorns price was comparable with other places. The fact that Acorns cleaning is more environmentally friendly made my mind up to take it to Acorns.
I received a text message within a week to say it was ready and I was delighted with how fresh, clean and just brushed the suede was - it was like getting a new coat. So I took my second coat in - a beautiful British Racing Green colour.
I got the coat back today and again, I'm absolutely delighted with how it looks. Even the most stubborn marks along the collar line which look like they've lost the furryness of suede have come out looking softer and cleaner - even though it was agreed before the cleaning that those wear marks can't be made to look like new again.
Please pass on my grateful thanks to whoever has cleaned my two coats. I very much appreciate the care that has been taken.
